I attended the C5/C6 Bash. Here are some of the interesting points from the 2010 Bash.
You will see the Z06 Carbon Edition in the new color Supersonic Blue. It will also be offered only in the new orange, Inferno Orange. Inferno Orange is shown on the Grand Sport Convertible. I really like the orange. It is not loud and has a slight iridescence. I do not care for the Blue. It really looks bad with the black wheels. It looks a bit better with the chrome wheels on the Z06 in the photo. I am sure the orange will not look good with the black wheels either.
You will see the new Goodyear tires on the blue Z06 with the chrome wheels, and on the orange Grand Sport convertible. The tread pattern is asymmetric and the tires are directional. This comes on all Z06's without the ZR1 Brake package and on the Grand Sport with magnetic ride and six speed stick.
You will see the new wheel on the base Vette. It looks more like a five pointed star and has a machined surface on the star and is painted gray on the bevels to the machined surface.
The Torch Red Z06 has the Carbon Package with the black splitter, the black rocker pieces, the black roof and the body-colored painted ZR1 spoiler in the rear. The black pieces are all carbon fiber. It also has the brake and wheel package which includes the 19 and 20 inch ZR1 wheels in dark gray, the ZR1 carbon ceramic brakes, the ZR1 Michelin tires as well as the magnetic ride like the ZR1.
There was no word on prices yet, but I am sure the prices will be out shortly. The Z06 Carbon Edition hss all of the equipment that is in these two above packages plus the carbon fiber hood without the window. It also has other equipment from the ZR1.
